1 - Choosing your weather and equipment

After consulting the weather forecast, on the Météo France website for example, reserve your equipment at least the day before by calling +336 86 56 47 86 your equipment

2 - Equipment for pleasure and safety

1. Swimsuit or wetsuit in winter
2. T-shirt
3. Windbreaker
4. Closed-toe shoes
5. Hat + strap
6. Sunglasses + strap
7. Sunscreen
8. Towel
9. Water bottle
10. Picnic
11. Charged phone
12. Mask and snorkel
13. Camera

1. It is compulsory to wear a lifejacket on board the kayak
2. Don't stray more than 300m from the coast: (Don't go beyond the line of big yellow buoys that runs along the coast)
3. In case of heavy swell, keep a safe distance from the coast
4. In case of difficulty, stay on the kayak, don't try to swim to shore. This way, you'll be easier to spot from a distance
5. Don't overestimate your strength, think about the return trip
6. In the event of a problem (weather, fatigue), take shelter in a cove and wait for help
7. A cell phone will improve your safety in the event of a problem.
8. Respect the navigation plan (destination, itinerary, schedule) agreed with the rental company.
